In 1988 Ivan finished his secondary education specializing in Italian and French language.
From 1990 until 1994 he studied “Economics and Management” at the University of National and World Economy, acquiring later his Master Degree of Industrial Economics, Organization and Management.
In 1996 he specialized as an expert of liquidity at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Bulgaria and Tokyo, Japan.
From 1994 until 2000 he is employed with MKB Unionbank respectively as dealer, director of investment management, and member of the Board of Directors in the fields of: money market, management of liquidity, investment management.
Between 1997 and 2001 he is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of “Mashstroy”, a joined-stock company producing metal-cutting machines.
Since 2001 he is a manager and partner in B&T Consulting Ltd., Sofia, Bulgaria. The company’s activity include consultations in the field of machine trading with Bulgaria, Italy, Russia and Belarus.
Since 2002 he is a manager and partner in IC&Partners Sofia Ltd engaged in consulting, as well as, administrative and legal services.
As of 2012 Ivan Palichev is a certified mediator registered at the Registry of Mediators of the Ministry of Justice.
From 2014 he studied Psychology at Veliko Tarnovo University “St. Cyril and Methodius”. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Psychology.
Since 2017 he has been a member of the Bulgarian Psychological Society.
Since 2017 he is a doctoral student at the University of Veliko Tarnovo “St.St. Cyril and Methodius”. In 2020 he defended his doctoral dissertation on “Professional profile and work motivation – crosscultural analysis” and was awarded the degree of “Doctor of Psychology” (PhD).
He is fluent in Italian, Russian and English language.
